Senate Inquiry’s Final Report on Veteran Advocacy Services

AVHS welcomes the Senate Inquiry’s final report on veteran advocacy services.

We’re grateful to the Committee for their hard work and thoughtful recommendations. The report highlights the intricate nature of veterans’ entitlements law and calls for continued efforts to improve timeliness and quality in claims processing while maintaining accountability for public funds.

It also raises serious concerns about some for-profit advocacy models. Veterans have already served their country- they shouldn’t have to pay for the support they deserve.

At AVHS, we’re proud to deliver a clinician-led, ethical model of care built by veterans for veterans. No commissions, no kickbacks – just trusted support for our veterans from medical professionals who understand the system and care deeply about outcomes.

We look forward to continuing our work with government and the veteran community to build a safer, more effective advocacy system.
